The first twenty years of my career were mostly behind the scenes. Then my first book, published in 2003, nudged me into the public eye. Since then, I've logged hundreds of media interviews, keynotes, sermons, retreats, fundraisers, and book signings.
I've spoken to national television audiences and basement small groups. At multi-site megachurches and intimate Bible studies. Through interpreters, in boardrooms, and around campfires. At women's teas and wild game dinners. To dads, pastors, grandparents, teens, kids, business leaders, and thousands of men at Iron Sharpens Iron conferences in 15 states.

Jay on "Focus on the Family"
On January 25, 2021, Focus on the Family re-aired the broadcast, "Practical Ideas for Loving Your Wife." Which means 4 - 6 million people heard Jim, John, and Jay challenge men to be the kind of husbands God has called them to be. (We may have also presented ideas on how to get a few extra kisses along the way.) The interview was based on Jay's book, 52 Things Wives Need from Their Husbands.
